First and foremost I’d like to mention that we will NOT under any circumstances host any blogs that contain illegal, discriminatory or pornographic content of any kind.  All of the blogs hosted with us are family friendly and we are committed to supporting that effort.    

Domain Name:  Typically the first thing on any blogger’s mind is the title or name of their blog and access to it.  We offer you a couple of options.  You can purchase your very own creative domain name from your favorite provider and we will give you all the information you need to point it in the right direction (we do NOT provide a domain name or name purchasing services here). 

If you don’t want to get a domain name you are welcome to a .momblogcentral.com site of your choice (as long as it’s available).  We offer our clients free subdomains at no extra charge for the lifetime of your hosting here.  You choose the beginning and we’ll get it all setup for you.  We have several clients that choose to have their blogs as “subdomains” of Mom Blog Central.  Your domain name would look something like this … www.subdomain.momblogcentral.com.  You get the idea.

Blog Installation & Updates:  All of our client’s sites come configured with the latest stable version of Wordpress and include free upgrades for all new stable releases as long as you are hosted here at Mom Blog Central.   We notify all clients when a new release is out and you will then be asked to let us know what the best time for upgrade is, we take care of the rest.

Plugins: One of the best features about using a Wordpress blog is the fact that you can install some great plugins.  Your blog will come with some of the most popular plugins installed and ready for you to activate.   Our clients are welcome to let us know if they need another plugin installed (limit of 5 the first month and 1 per month after that).
